Every casino on this site is scored out of ten across six categories. The categories carry different weights, and the weighted result is the single figure shown next to the casino name.
The six categories and their weight
Game selection carries 25%, bonuses and promotions 20%, payments and payouts 20%, customer support 15%, mobile experience 10% and fairness and licensing 10%.
Payments and fairness together account for 30% because they decide whether a player keeps what they win. A large game library cannot compensate for a cashier that does not pay.
What we actually test
We register a normal account, verify it with genuine documents, deposit real money and request at least two withdrawals of different sizes. We contact support at least four times, including outside business hours, and we read the full bonus terms rather than the promotional page.
We also record which responsible gambling tools exist and how many clicks reach them, and we check whether return to player figures are published in the game information panels.
Re-testing and corrections
Every operator is re-tested each quarter, because cashier speed and support quality change faster than anything else. Scores are revised up or down on the basis of those re-tests.
If you believe a figure in a review is wrong, write to us with the detail and we will check it against our logs and correct the page where the evidence supports it.
How we are funded
We earn commission when a reader signs up through some of the links on this site. Commercial terms never affect a score, and operators cannot pay for placement in our rankings or for a higher rating.
