★★★★★★★★★★2 ratings

Clearwater runs no bonuses and publishes its table margins instead. For a disciplined player that is a better deal than any match offer, but the bonus score reflects what is simply absent.

Clearwater Casino at a glance

Clearwater has operated on a Malta licence since 2018 with a position unusual in this market: it offers no bonuses whatsoever. Instead it publishes the house margin on every table game and runs several of them below the standard rate.

The lobby is mid sized at about 2,600 titles and the emphasis is clearly on table play rather than slots, with 45 live dealer tables and a well documented rule set for each.

Why there is no welcome bonus

The operator argues that wagering requirements transfer value from players who do not read terms to those who do, and that cutting the house margin returns value to everyone. The published blackjack rules support that claim.

What this means in practice is that our bonus category score is low because the category is empty, not because an offer is bad. Players who never claim bonuses should disregard that line entirely.

Deposits, withdrawals and payout speed

Both deposits and withdrawals start at $10. The monthly ceiling is $60,000 and no fees apply at any level we tested.

Our $700 Trustly withdrawal arrived in seven hours and a $250 card withdrawal in 22. Neither triggered a document request after the initial account verification.

Games and software

NetEnt, Play’n GO and Red Tiger supply the slots, and Evolution runs the live floor. The table game section lists the exact rule variants, which lets a player compare margins before sitting down.

Slot players will find the selection adequate rather than exciting; this is a site built around the tables.

Support and responsible play

Chat runs 07:00 to 01:00 Central European Time, with email covering the overnight window at a four to seven hour turnaround in our tests.

All the standard limit tools are present, and the operator caps new accounts at a default deposit limit until the player raises it deliberately, a design choice we have seen nowhere else.

Payouts in under a day and nothing hidden in the terms. Would like an app but the mobile site is fine.

  2. Bram de Wit ★★★★★★★★★★

No bonus means no arguments about wagering. The single deck blackjack rules here are better than anywhere else I play.
